Bring on the big bang

God created the world, then he left it to us to enjoy. Some say he created the world and left it to us to perfect. Well the problem with either is that humans make mistakes, we can never have a system that is error free. The whole idea that the world is a cruel place is because humans have made, make and will continue to make mistakes. We have laws that are administered by police ranging from the common security gaurd to the interpol and yet the crime rates fluctuate up and down.
The problem lies within our thinking. We hand the hill-billies who want to shoot and conquer the defense department because we feel the intelligent and those that think on their feet are weak/pussies. Well I got a newsflash for them, it doesnt work like that. Henry David Thoreau talked about how the need to impose will of the smart and sophisticated on those that use brute force, are selfish in everything they do and those that live in a dark place could provide us with a life easier to live in.
Note  down these words: Trials, prison and death row are bandages on bullet holes; we must figure out how to stop the bullet. No not hollywood, at the system. It needs fixing, education fails most, why do we use the term cream of the crop? We lack volume of the real world beaters.
I put down the failure of the system to 3 groups of people- a) Parents b) Teachers c) governments.
Parents dont do enough. They dont set examples for the thier offsprings to follow. They dont make changing the system a priority, the prority it seems is religion(not the answer), money(a pathetic system to run the world)and values(thank goodness they got that right). Let me include the orphan, homeless and kids whos parents dont care by saying they need the government to step up. The parents need to help the system themselves but more importantly, get the bloody kids to prioritize the world. Parents fight about sex and drugs with the kids but have they considered we hate the system so much we dont want to watch it sober.
Governments, step up. Enough said but they really are underperforming.
Teachers, they teach books, they teach material off the syllabus but apart from a few, they never teach us the world. Give me more knowledge about what is wrong so i can i fix it bitch. no pun intended. There are more important things in the present that the score i get on my finals.
I know many will fight the good fight when it comes but its not enough, im afraid with the way things are set it will never be. We need knowledge to improve the world, not harness it for profits. Alright god, blow us all, Yes,
bring on the next Big Bang.

Faith: playing the percentages

What do you value? Is it really your family or friends or the person you wake up next to you? Are you so selfish that nothing in matches up to something you adore? I am, I have never thought of anything more influencing my life, my decisions or my mood more the my team and my city.
Let me take you through it, I was born in delhi but lived in mussoorie all my life and ever since ive been in delhi its been like a giant snow globe that building up pressure waiting to be released. Philly, Philadelphia, the latest place I felt any close to being home. Ironically my hom
e is here, it is delhi but last May I was returning from Princeton (New Jersey) to Philly and had to change trains at Trenton (a mid stop).  I had 3 mins between getting off and getting on and as fate would have it I missed it. It was 12 am and the next NJ transit from Trenton was at 6 am. Yes i was angry and had heard stories about trenton at night but it didnt really bother me because I had faith. Yes Faith, not in God but in the percentages. I believe things even out and sure enough I found an Amtrak train at 4. As I entered philly i felt a calm come over me, almost an epifany like and i knew that philly was it, the center of my universe. Now it is lookin g more like i could find my self back at mussoorie next weekend and im looking forward to it.
I saw the news on pakistan this week and I have to saw that the new pak prime minister pisses the living hell out of me. he is one of those than covers and justifies his mistakes and then talks about him wanting to remove terrisom when its growing in his own back yard. I saw shoot the man, put a price on his head and let events unfold. So if your reading this you curropt, lazy and worthless politicians (except the italian chick and manmohan) do something. They really do make me sick.
On another note, im looking for a job, a job at a bank or perhaps in a firm so any ideas send it over and i got a bew cell. Shock right, almost like craig fergusson's marriage.

Now for the story of the century I believe. last year the Philadelphia Phillies (baseball) won the world series after a misrable 50 years. Philly folk-lore has it that no building must ever be higher than the statue of one William Penn which has been on the City hall for decades
. Unfortunately since the last time phillies won a title, there have been many highrises to top the city hall and no title. Last year the the Vice president of comcast suggested putting the Penn statue on top of the building making it the tallest in the city. Do I really need to finish. Yes the PHILLIES WON THE WORLD SERIES!! to give you a better idea, no philadelphia sports tea
m has won anything since the statue went lower so this was miracle in every sense.
Breaking new: Jennifer Hudson to sing at next years superbowl.
Well im not a big fan of half time shows but i do hope and have faith(percentages again) that the Philadelphia Eagles will be there. If you do not understand the eagles yet, ill give you a movie to watch. Its called Invincible.
anyways until next time

Let 2009 commence

Happy new year to all. Im not much for traditions, infact those who no me would say that I break ever protocol in the book. The classic act after new year is the resolutions and what a person wants or needs changed. Last year my resolution was to rely less on Liverpool and make things happen, you know the open the door or smash it down policy. It clearly did not work well, furthermore the year was a little uneventful for me personally with not many accomplishments nor many losses. Now a friend of mine, lets call him Bob(sorry for the publicity) wanted 2008 to prove a hardworking year. From what I know, the man dropped out of his engineering program that had 2 years to go and now resides in Delhi working on business. I would not call the year full of sheer will or determination but I am hoping he would refer to the year gone by as a stop gap period where he made a change for the better. Kudos to him for making the brave decision few would make and good luck for the next.
A woman once said," Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right." Send me your resolutions and I promise not to disect them into shreds. Also to those in the middle of exams, good luck and dont call me too much.
