Pilot

Peace. It seems the most appropriate word to start off my first post after the recent terror attacks in Mumbai. The tragic end of innocent lives through acts of terrorism seem to spark an extra bit of aggression in all of us, we look for someone to blame and its hardly unfair when we blame the indian government for its incompetance. Moving on I would like to say welcome to those who are reading this and thank you for spending 20 mins of your hopefully delighful day on my blog as I have so much to say and I am hopeful you are eagar to hear.
I know the economy is starting to affect us all in ways we never imagined and the end still seems a fair distance away. Recently i read an article which talks about foreclosed homes. Now I have been hurt by the economy to a certain extent but people are losing their shelters, a rapid increase in foreclosure to 3% this quarter in the united states take the number of foreclosed home past 1.36 million. 1.36 million, Christ how is anyone going to celebrate anything with most of the people heading towards some truly depressing situations. I have made a pact with myself for the winter, as a human being I cannot, will not stand by and celebrate Christmas and New Year as people lose everything that they hold dear. I shall spend this winter at home working towards my finals as it just seems so wrong.
On a lighter note, I hope that my first post is not too much of a drag and if it is, I promise to improve as the weeks go on. Have a great day, keep your glasses full and your bodies warm.
